That’s right I said ‘pre-sales’ page as opposed to sales page. Why you may ask? Well remember you’re selling other peoples products so they already have a sales page.

The pre-sales page is where visitors will land first before proceeding to the sales page. Here you’ll only want to remind them of their wants, needs, or reason for being at your site to begin with. Give them a preview of what they’re about to see or perhaps a review of the product itself. DO NOT attempt to sell on this page! You merely want to arouse the interest or curiosity of any website visitors before they see the actual product promotion page itself!

Collect Names

Any online business will want to get the contact information of their website visitors to market to them in the future. This is a great way to accelerate the growth of your business! Having a ready list of folks to contact you can easily contact with any product promotion is a much easier and cost efficient way to get traffic to your website!

It is a common practice online to offer some sort of free gift to website visitors in exchange for their contact information. An informative ebook or inexpensive piece of software would work just fine as a giveaway.

A Marketing Plan

The key to your success online will be based in your marketing plan. Simply stated this is how you will get traffic to your website. Depending upon your product, market, and/or budget you will decide how best to drive traffic to your site. Without traffic you have no customers, sales, or business for that matter.

These 3 key principals will be the foundation upon which you’ll build your affiliate marketing business. With the proper effort and execution in these areas your business will prosper while you profit.

Affiliate marketing is simple, but far from being easy. I’ve come to this conclusion after caoching many people. Most of the people who start my affiliate and Internet marketing coaching program don’t have a clue about how to make money online.

In fact, they are complete newbies.

While every marketer is telling you that affiliate marketing is the easiest money you will ever make, you really need to look at the fact.

Did you know that 95% of the associates marketers don’t make any money?

This is another example of the pareto law. You know, 20% of the people make 80% of the money.

Let me show you how I take students who are complete beginners and instantly propell them in the 20% category.

The first thing I tell them is to start with one article. I tell them to write one article. Once they wrote the article (sometimes, it can take hours or even days), I tell them that they need a website and a web hosting, but I advise them to create a blog instead of a site.

Why? Because it’s faster and it doesn’t require any specific knowledge or skill.

The goal here is to make the first commission as fast as possible while learning the basics of affiliate marketing.

So here it is, the best way to start for beginners is to create a blog, pick an affiliate program on clickbank and write and submit article to directories.

I am going to give you a simple and highly effective strategy that is almost guaranteed to increase your monthly paychecks if you take action.

Write and submit articles about your affiliate niche.

Let me explain how this method work.

First, it works so well because the Internet is a big information recipient. Everyone is searching for information and nobody like blatant ads (these ads make millions of dollars though).

Please understand that I do not claim that paid advertising doesn’t work. It works very well.

What I want to make you understand is that you can earn a lot of money by providing people with the information they are searching for.

Let me give you an example.

When I first started online, I typed “make money online” in Google, and then I started to read everything I could about the subject.

This is what most people do. Whenever they have a problem or want to learn about something, they perform a search in their preferred search engine.

This is where you come in.

You want those people to find your articles. Furthermore, you want to come with the exact answers that these people want.

When you do this, people will trust you. And when they trust you, money will start to come into your bank account automatically because people buy from people they trust.

You will be recognized as an expert by many people and you will make a lot of affiliate commissions as a result.

1. Offer Something For FREE to Build Your List: First set up a squeeze page to get your new potential customers email address by offering them something for free. Make sure your website looks good. Making a nice header and footer with simple graphics is worth the money. Potential customers will instantly judge you and your credibility from what they first see and read on your website. First impressions are huge.

2. The FREE Information Must Be Something of Real Value: This is where a lot of people miss the chance to impress their new potential customers. You have offered to give them something free, but you must over deliver here. Don’t give out worthless info, give away something that is great. Some marketers give away an entire mini course that has cost them money to make. They are not selling the course, they are simply giving it away to build their email list. And the free report or course always ends with a call to action. Tell them what to do next, like how buy your low to medium priced product.

3. Making The First Sale: This is where most internet marketers screw it up. If they don’t buy from you immediately after the free information, it is so important to follow this. People like to buy from people they know like and trust. Most people will not buy from you on their first visit to your website or after they receive your free info. This is where most marketers fail. DO NOT just keep sending sales offer after sales offer to your new potential customers. You must continue building a “Relationship” with your list. Building a “Relationship” first is truly the key to having a successful online business.

4. Best Time To Up Sell More Products: Once the first sale is made, this is the best time to make another sale. Amazon knows this, and when you add a product to checkout they show you additional related products for you to buy immediately. Most people don’t have any additional products to up sell and they are leaving money on the table. If you need products to up sell start off offering other related affiliate products.

5. The Follow Up: Once you have built a “Relationship” with your list and they have bought from you once, you now have a customer for life. Your customers are like gold, they already like and trust you so sell them more products that you know will help them.

This may all sound so easy, but you and I know it isn’t. Most people just sell, sell, sell, to their list, because that’s all they know how to do. The money is in the email list but only if you first know how to build a “Relationship” with your list.

So…How Does this Work?

You usually begin by signing up to various paid online surveys sites. You can find these sites listed in several Survey Directories available on the Internet. The sign-up procedure usually involves filling out a lot of demographic information about yourself. It is important that you enter all the data accurately as it helps the company to make a profile for you. Based on this profile, it sends relevant surveys to your e-mail id, which you have to fill in and send back.

Will I Make Pots and Pots of Money?

If you are wondering how much you will earn, let’s be honest here. Like I mentioned before, you will not be able to earn enough to make it your sole source of livelihood, or send your children to college. At the very maximum, you can consider the income from these surveys as a bonus to your existing income; as a mean to pay for your shopping extravaganza every now and then; as a way to sponsor a nice vacation for your family once or twice a year.

Another thing to keep in mind is that income from these paid online surveys is rarely fixed or steady. One month you may have a lot of surveys to fill out and another month you may be staring at your inbox in desperation for some survey to come your way. This happens because in any given month there may be surveys that do not match your profile.

How do I Get Paid?

How you are paid varies from company to company. Some companies prefer that you reach a certain payout limit before they release your check, while others allot a certain number of points to each survey and ask you to accumulate a specific amount, which is later converted to a cash value. However, most companies simply prefer to send you a check for the number of surveys you’ve taken in a month. Another favored mode of payment is Paypal. Apart from this, gift certificates, prizes, and travel and food vouchers are some of the things that are offered by the paid online surveys site.

Any Thing Else I Need to Know?

• Paid online surveys are not a get rich quick scheme.

• After your initial sign up, you will not be flooded with surveys from companies. It will be more of a trickle. So bide your time and don’t get frustrated.

• Be a little wary of sites that charge money for participation. There are enough legitimate free sites out there without you having to shell out the money.

• You are not obliged to take all the surveys that come your way. If you don’t feel comfortable with a survey, skip it. Don’t worry about the company penalizing you and not sending surveys your way in the future.
